DAG has still got it

Went to see DAG (David Alan Grier) last night at the Parlor in Bellevue.  He’s still got it as far as I am concerned (still very funny, that is).  It was obvious from his set that he is a little troubled about his luck in love (fairly recently divorced from his second wife), but he has apparently learned a few things from that experience at least.  I felt kind of bad for the new couple he sort of picked on during the show however.  He basically made half the show about all the things the couple needed to be prepared for if they actually married one day.  Although most of what he said was true, you have to admit that it is a bit mean to make the future seem so bleak to someone who is in love and just so darn happy.  Anyhow, good times.  Take the time to see him live if you get the chance.  I am a long time fan of his since “In Living Color”, but now I’m starting to reveal my age, so I’ll stop while I still have a little dignity left.
