Mary and Max


I saw an interesting Indie film this weekend that I thought I should write briefly about just to pass along the info to those who might not have noticed it otherwise.  The movie is Mary and Max and was a surprisingly moving and entertaining movie.  I think it actually released last year, but it took some time for me to find and watch it.  First, it is really a movie of ordinary people, perhaps a little less ordinary than some, but basically people we could relate to.  Second, it is done in plasticine/claymation, stop motion style, so the visual itself is really quite entertaining.  And finally, most people will recognize the voice actors, so that makes it even more interesting.  The story is a bit sad but also happy.  I personally found it inspiring.  Do check it out if you have a chance.
