Independence Day

I had a very nice 4th of July in Seattle.  It was sunny and hot and I was outside and not at work.  I visited with some old friends and watched the Kirkland fireworks display.  I thought the show was OK, but not spectacular.  Perhaps I’ve seen too many of these to be impressed anymore, but I’ve heard a similar line from other friends who saw it.  Oh well, it was free so who am I to complain.
