I was able to see Dave Foley perform standup this past weekend. He was very funny but he also seems to be getting a little crabby in his old age. He apparently is still a little bitter about his first marriage, but he made some good points about our censorship of language. He spent half the show on his own soapbox bashing those who believe in religion, which was also a bit of a let down comedy-wise. Anyhow, it was great to see him in person as I still have a lot of respect for his work.

is he nice in person?
He was really nice in person. He walked around the club before the show just hanging out with the rabble, which is not always the way it goes.
i heard he’s awesome like that. But he’s still depressed over the ex thing…something he may never get away from.
